HI Tony,

The engine with the most available aftermarket parts is the ZX3 engine. There
are those who will rave about the ZX2, but basically getting parts for the ZX2
is a pain - especially cams.

Ford is still supporting the ZX3 engine in their Ford Racing division, as it is
used as the "standard" engine in 2.0L Midgets and F2000 series race cars.

If given a choice I would install a ZX3 everytime.

What do you want to know? I was one of the first one's in the states to put a Zetec in a Caterham. I am currently making around 220hp in the last modification...

The vct models usually say vct on the valve cover and one o the cams will have the vct thing on the end. It will also have the vct soleenoid out of the valve...
