I found an attempt someone made to straighten bent inner tubes. I have repaired the forks. Sounds like a good technique to remember. Thanks.

... Likely a bit late with the response..but if you loosen the clamps holding the upper tube and rotate it 180 degrees and the gap still remains...you fork is

FJR fork concern?
When taking off my front wheel, I noticed the right fork leg splayed about 3/16" when I unscrewed the axle bolt. Is this normal, or is the fork bent? Thanks
