This group is dedicated to the Yamaha XTZ750 Super Tenere (or YZE750, YZE750T, TRXTZ, XTDMZ) Paris-Dakar Bike. It is a big trail bike and a great bike, often retro-fitted with the engine from a TDM850 or TRX850 - in which case it becomes known as a XTDM850Z or TRX850XTZ - and this site is for riders, prospective buyers or those just interested in the bike.

This bike won the infamous Paris-Dakar Rally six times, as recently as 1999, riden by France's Stephan Peterhansal who broke all the records and then took to racing cars.

KTM has followed Yamaha's lead with their take-on the horizontal twin with their KTM 950 Baja. It stands against Hondas Africa Twin, AT, Cagiva Elephant, BMW Adventurer, GS etc.
