Fa-sm-26 would be fine at .120 or .125 it is the rear transmission
mount. .25 would be overkill.
Fa-sm-13 is the front upper shock absorber mount and I ordered mine at
.188 thick along with the fa-sm-17's
I believe the fa-sm-17's were mentioned in an update.
As for aluminum or steel you can use either, aluminum will be lighter
and probably more expensive.
Many thickness variations are discussed in the manual and videos as well
as updates.
But I think this is also a good forum for their discussion. I believe
the tunnel tubing was stiffened to like .120 thickness which is more
than the prototype was built with.
As you get thicker it may get stronger but heavier, there are trade-offs
with fuel efficiency and safety.
But this XR3 is a great project in my opinion and I am looking forward
to riding it.
Although it will take a while.
Good luck, Bob

Does anyone have info from Riley to clear up these discrepancies on the
plans?
fa-sm-13 and 26 - dwg says .120, dxf says .250
fa-sm-22 (bat box) - has aluminum on dwg and steel on dxf
thanks,
