Welcome to the XR-3 Group

This is a group dedicated to building the R.Q. Riley XR3 hybrid high efficiency vehicle.

If you have an interest in building your own vehicle, Hybrids, or EV's you may just find something of interest here. NOTE: If you don't know, the XR-3 is the latest in a long series of plans based vehicles designed by Robert Q. Riley. It may also be his first actual production vehicle. It is designed as a high mileage hybrid, but all options are on the table. It can be built as an EV, a conventional ICE vehicle, or anything else you wish. If you have an interest in this please feel free to join us.

Is it possible to see what was done on the prototype? There are some pics of that area of the car. Worst case, call in to Mr.Riley and ask him how it is done.

If If rotate the bearing boss around so the caliper will sit more towards the back/lower side It will alow the cable to miss anything. I can not see any
