Hi Ladies
My hands are no longer numb, my back is in the process of recovery and my butt....well, let's not go there.  I have so many to thank for their support and care that I don't know where to start. 
 

• First, I'd like to thank Beth Baldwin for her support of the riders and her patience with me in particular. 
• Also, a BIG thank you to Cris for all her work on routes, her support of all the riders and her encouragement when times got tough.
• Thanks to everyone for their tips on staying cool, packing and travel techniques.
• Special thanks to all my different roommates for making the trip and the motel stays a real pleasure.
• And a very special thanks to those who cared for me when I got so sick with heat exhaustion.

 
As I was telling Alice the other day, when she went out of her way to bring me the laundry I had left in the car, I was excited about the trip before it began and still excited the day after we got back.  I have not had the opportunity to take many vacations in my life and to have had such a great experience on my second vacation in twenty-two years meant a great deal to me.
 
I look forward to many more trips with my riding sisters in the future; you are an extraordinary group of women.  
 
The weather is supposed to be in the high 70s this weekend; I hope everyone can get in a good ride.  If anyone has an idea for a ride for the group this weekend, count me in.
