Congratulations on a successful evening, Murph!!  I'm with Donn, if we lived
closer, we would have gone.....heck, any excuse to get out of the house on a
weeknight!!  If someone took pics, post 'em!

To be honest with you, I didn't expect any more
than maybe 4 Cruisers. There just doesn't seem to be
any enthusiasm in this neck of the woods. Long story
short. 12 Cruisers showed. Even from Monterey. I was
worried it would be a flop. Jan spread the word as best
she could, and Kathryn pasted post-its on
windshields. I was very pleased with the turn-out. Jan was a
nervous wreck, until the 5th, then the 6th, 7th Cruiser
showed. After that it was gravy.<br><br>murph

Murph, how did your cruise-in go? If we were in
the neighborhood, we would have been there! Those of
you out there that don't know any of the Sillicon
Valley gang, you should. They are some of the nicest
folks my wife and I have met! If YOU are in their
neighborhood, try to hook up with them sometime.

The cruise was organized by Don Kidd. We departed the
Walnut Creek BART station on Saturday, the 9th. The last
I heard, there were 34 of those great little cars
heading for the skies! The climb up the mountain was
adventurous to say the least! Some folks had to close their
eyes and not look down. But once we reached our
parking area, all involved gazed at the marvelous sights
to behold from such an altitude. It was hard to
believe that a thriving metropolis as San Francisco was
down there below the clouds. After lunch, most of us
cruised north of Point Reyes Station to tour cheese
factory. A good time was had by all! Those of you who
didn't make this cruise, be sure to go on your own if
you have to. It's well worth<br>the drive!
