You can buy this heater from West Marine. Their part number 296386,
Raritan 171211. It is the same heater, I replaced ours last year on our
1980 FC 35. The fittings are almost in the same place as the original
unit, you will have to rework the plumbing a little.

Hey Tommie, wow I stand corrected. Im impressed by your creativity
and here I thought I was the only one who followed the dogma's
of "Martha Stewart".....lol. Don't worry I won't reveal my feminine
side. My other half just requires me to shop at Home Depot once in
awhile to buy a tool to stay grounded to my masculine side....lol.

Mike and LuAnn:

A quick search online revealed this place
http://www.boatersland.com/rawahe.html
that has 12 gal, 120 or 240 volt with or without heat exchangers.

I know nothing about Boatersland but if they are like most marine
places they are expensive.

Hi Bruce,

The latch to hold the door open , the weak spot is the latching hook.
I fabricated a hook from a light weight piece of flat steel/tin,
THen pop riveted it to the inside of the "U" shaped arm, a little
paint and it looks fine, The retaining spring is difficult to form
from stock hardware springs, But I think you are a good tinkerer.

The electrical hold the door open device, I could not find on the
internet mainly because I do not have a name for it. But a wood
cabinet hadrware web site would be a place to start.

I am no help on the table , We have one support leg.

   Thanks Randy:

However the 87 to 89's do not use a common RV door holder. It is
something that BB manufactured. A variation of the over the counter
door holders. I will see if I can post a picture.

Thanks Randy:

However the 87 to 89's do not use a common RV door holder. It is
something that BB manufactured. A variation of the over the counter
door holders. I will see if I can post a picture.

   Hi Chris:

I am needing a few parts for my 88 FC. BB did try to get them for the
rally at Q but they did not have the parts. The service people
suggested I contact Georgia parts. I need the hook that holds the entry
door open. This is a metal piece about 8 to 10" long and fastened to
the body with a spring loaded bracket. I also need the device that
holds the electrical cable entry door open. It is brass and looks
like something you would find on an old desk to hold a compartment
open. I am also looking for the exterior aluminum mouldings. The upper
and lower are 2 different profiles. Next I am wondering if the dinette
table leg for a 91 WLWB is available. Many of the 90's 40 ft. and
larger units used this legless setup if it was ordered with a booth.
Made out of 1.5 inch , 1/8 wall sq. tubing.

   Thanks

   Br

You assume it was the ladies who made up the baskets. Might it have

Hi all,

I've posted a few more sample photos from the rally on our website.

There is mug shot of the master imposter who was reported to have been
lurking at the rally. Do not try to apprehend -- he is considered
very dangerous with his lighted name tag -- report him to your local

It looked like you worked very hard on washing and waxing the
spare engine(generater) and prouldly showed it off. I think the
repairs were just an excuse to show it off.
I also thought Tommy was doing an excellent job of supervising.

It was also the first time I ever saw palm trees growing on a desert!
Of course, what does someone who lives in a swamp area know about
growing anything on rocks and sand.

Other than that, it was great time, and for those that weren't there,
CCW did not charge for any repairs or parts. They did anything and
   everything they could for us.

Hey never mind the palm trees and flamingos. What about my generator
display. I worked hard on my generator display. We had it out for viewing
nearly all week. A full two days before the Palm Tree/Flamingo thing. Tools
and materials were all laid out neatly. It was a comprehensive "How Not To"
demonstration complete with many actors playing the part of mechanic. I even
had a grand finale with such illustrious characters as Curt Sprenger and
Lucas Willemse riding to the rescue and turning the event from a debacle
into a "How To" demonstration. Hell Tommy Two Shoes even made a cameo
appearance with his American Express wrench. So top that next year Mister
Tim.
