Wavetrac (Was: Damaged Quaife)

A bit of a report on the Autotech LSD...

We ended up purchasing a Wavetrac diff instead of fixing the shop Quaife.

It is definitely heavier than the Quaife, although I didn't weigh to see how
much.
Once in the car and driving, it seems to "skate" to the outside of the corner
way too easily. With my old Peloquin setup, it was pretty obvious that it's a
torque biasing differential and it would pull you into the corner on application
of power.
The wavetrac almost does the opposite, or let's say how the Pelowuin acted in
wet, slippery weather.
What I sometimes forget is that I have a lot more power now, but it just seems
way way too easy to "skate" out to the outside of the corner when I roll onto
the gas.
The diff itself is adjustable, however adjusting it voids the warranty, so I've
emailed Autotech to see what they have to say...

Here is some eye candy from a hillclimb in may. I think you can see in the
video how the car darts back and forth at the exit of every corner as I roll
onto the gas and then I back off to get it back in line:

That's now Motivicity in MI. Don't know if that would make any difference
though.
