The clutch cannot be adjusted, so if it's slipping, get ready to get a new one. $900 for parts & labour is a rip off though. The parts should not cost more...
Hmmm... $900 seems awfully steep to me. I got a quote from a local shop (non-VW shop) to get my Quaife installed and they quoted me 10 hours at $65 / hour......
