That would be correct.
I would get a manual for both vehicles to see if there are any physical mounting differences, and I would expect to have to buy an entire motor including injectors, intake, MAF and ECU.
I bet the cams are the biggest difference between the motors.
different for the low end torque as Paul pointed out. One possible other thing - I seem to recall that the EuroVan VR6 was the first
application to use the 24 valve VR6 in North America, but I'm not sure what year. If yours has the 24 valve motor, your stuck with
looking for motors from 2002 and newer cars.
