The Princess stove is porcelain coated and you would need to take/send the parts
to a place that does re-porcelaining. Painting the stove won't work because the
paint won't want to adhere to the porcelain that is already there and the new
paint would not withstand the heat of the stove.
The Marvel refrigerator can be refinished using standard refinishing processes.
The best result will come from the application of automotive type paint. If you
can't do this yourself, it would be possible to take the face frame off the
refrigerator and take it and the door to a local auto body shop and have them
paint them for you. This will not be inexpensive. Another option is to prepare
the door and face frame and paint it with some other means, such as a "rattle
can." This will not produce the same finish that was there originally or that
automotive pain will provide, but a lot of people do their refrigerators this
way and to their satisfaction.

home by myself? If so, what kind of paint is out there for it? If not, where can
I take it that won't cost an arm and leg? The stove is mint green and white and
the fridge is white. Thanks, Denise :)
