Description

The VintageDuc Yahoo group is the on-line active exchange media of Ducati enthusiast around the world and is for anyone who owns or is interested in 1990 or older Ducati motorcycles. If you restore, ride or race a vintage Ducati single or twin you've found the right place. The VintageDuc groups is based in but not limited to the San Francisco Bay Area.

The group is very active, presenting and participating in the Concorso at La Ducati Day Charity event in La Honda Ca. The European Motorcycle Show and Swap at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose Ca., and displays at the IMS Cycle World Shows on the West Coast. Other events include Tech sessions every Wednesday night at Barnaby’s Machine Company in Santa Clara, and local rides.

So share your knowledge, ask questions and post pix of your bikes. The VintageDuc group is a knowledgeable collection of Ducatista and we welcome your input.
Remember the only dumb question is the question not asked.

HI Lorin   Thought of that! Not really - Geoff from Bevel Heaven kindly suggested either take the left and right engine cases off or - take the wheels off

OK, with a torch cut the frame in half and re-weld around the motor... Hey! could work.... Hopefully someone will have a better suggestion. L

Fitting motor - 1979 900ss
Hi I have been rebuilding my 1979 900ss Duke for the past 6 months and am ready to fit the motor back into the frame now but am having trouble getting it back
