Hi man_40!

Have you fitted a spacer between the carb and the cylinder?
If you sport a 276 AMAL, when the engine gets very hot the petrol/air
mixture evaporates before reaching the combustion chamber. A 1/4"
thick heat isulating spacer will do the job.
But if your bikes stops suddenly when it gets hot, and you can't
restart it until she cools down, you may have a fualty condenser in
your mag. This last one happened to me. After a short run the engine
shuts down and when it gets cooler (to be true the mag not the
engine), will start first kick again.
