You will more than likley find that the mainstand pivots have worn quite oval
which will
cause the stand to foul.
As there is nothing to restrain them in use they tend to bounce around quite a
bit leading
to excessive wear.
There is a clip that fits to the bottom of the mudguard to hold the stand
securely ( not
original BSA ) but very worthwhile investing in..
