I’m pulling out the non-functioning giant Jap
radio and CD player this weekend and replacing it with
a Sony disc player and cubby hole thing.
Ant
hints, tips or suggestions?
I’ve gathered a fair a
mount of info regarding pulling the dash/console out
but very little on this particular
configuration.
Anyone done this, are the cubby hole the same for MX5’s
and Roadsters?
Gary
That's OK :)

You should pop along to
http://freespace.virgin.net/mx5.mike/

That's the MX5
owners club site, the MX5 Europe mailing
list is there which has a lot more traffic than this
one. Also, it's worth joining the club as they have a
special insurance scheme (I saved £400 a year) and 20%
discount on parts from certain Mazda dealers. All for only
£25 a year :)

Finally got myself MX5 (Eunos) wanted one since
they were first launched way back when.
Quick
question, with my car when you pull the indicator lever
back to flash the lights (with the lights off) the
little blue light on the dash illuminates and you can
see the headlights glow, but the lights don’t
pop-up.
I called the dealer and he said this is normal, is
it….?
Thanks
Gary
Man,,,,,this car just makes me smile all day. I have had a bit of stick about it
being a mid-life penis extention but,,let them eat my tyre dust I say, as I
drive into the sunset with the top down !

Roadster can you please help which his a cheap insurance

Hi everyone, i am new i am afraid, i hope i pick
up the vibe quickly!
I REALLY want a eunos, but
am worried about the insurance, any tips on a good
firm? please email me if you have a minute

I realised that my pictures were of a big file
size, and not really of decent quality, so I have
deleted some of them and added 4 more in John's eunos
directory. I think it looks better on bigger wheels. I have
also put hardtop on now, and I think that this suits
the car better than the soft top. Controversial?
I have betrayed my little car. I have been
driving a Subaru Impreza P1 and I have had impure
thoughts about it!
I will take my Eunos out again if it
ever stops raining.

Seen the price of those
roof covers? Outrageous!
Hi,
Hava look at my little old Eunos in the
photo album, Still running well I am the 2nd UK owner.
The only problem is that neither electric windows
work because the cables have come out of place. I dont
really fancy pending lots on garage bills so I am trying
to work out how to fix it myself. Has anyone had
sismilr probelms or can anyone help??
Look at the picture entitled "Marysia's eunos 4"
to see the stereo I had until today. I left my car
in an NCP carpark in Brighton which is supposedly
patroled and supposedly has CCTV. Came back to find they
had broken a window and taken the stereo (damaging
part of the window seals and dashboard in the
process).
Right now I have murderous thoughts, and I will attempt
to sue NCP for negligence.
Today (Saturday) I went to Halfords and spent a fortune on Autoglym products.
Spent the morning polishing the car. Is this sad, or just a sign of getting
old?
Car looked nice afterwards though.

This morning I drove all the way to work (60
miles) with the top down.
Couldn't run my fingers
through my hair when I got into the office, but I was in
SUCH a good mood!

Much better than driving in
the clapped out VW Golf CL (1.4 litre engine) that
used to be my company car. Bleugh!
