OK, I'm getting conflicting information from the web. I have an '05 HL
base model. It seems my rear window is always dirty and wet (Hey, it
rains in Oregon...) and I'm wondering about the effectiveness of a
rear spoiler.
I had one on my '00 Subaru Forester and it did a great job keeping the
rear window clear. Looking at existing spoilers on other HLs, it seems
there's a curve on the underside of the spoiler, which tells me it
directs airflow down the back window.
The dealer wants about $400 installed. I don't want to waste money,
but I want a clear(er) rear window.
