I have got just the thing! Simply drill into the plastic/metal interface and
insert a suitable wire and clench it into place. Too easy. There...just answered

What Toyota cars have had diesel engines? Are the Toyota diesels
interferance engines? That is, if the timing belt breaks do you bend
all the valves on the pistons as I just did on my Volkswagen diesel?
In Canada Toyotas are not available with Diesel, but, we can import any
car if it is over 15 years old. So, I would like to know what is

I have 2 Toyota Hilux diesel pick-ups from the early 1980's and need
info on them. I am interested to know if anyone has had any luck
running them on fuels other than diesel, like deep fryer waste oil, or
other. Also useful would be any tuning tips and cold weather starting
tips. The one that runs is a standard and the one with a bad tranny is

i've got an 84 4x4 toyota truck with the 2l in it.  the lever that
activates the clutch that sticks out of the side of the transmission
seems to have come loose in there. what broke, failed or whatever? i
guess i should start pulling the tranny eh?

It's not a diesel but the body has very little rust.  Parts trck only.  2wd. 
Engine is disassembled and roof was cut off for some reason.  Box has some dents
and a little surface rust but no holes.  I have pics I can send if you send me
your e-mail.  Located in Montour Falls, NY.
