Ah, but, until I get the 3B rebuilt, the turbo will not help to much. As it is
I currently have only about 14:1 compression ( if I am remembering correctly )
that is what the former owner said. From what I have been told I should have
between 20:1 to 24:1 compression And if I put a turbo on it, that will make
it susceptible to higher emissions standards as well.
I have been having this dream about pulling the 3B and putting in a naturally
aspirated 1HZ that is good up to 7000 ft, before it starts losing power due to
altitude ( then maybe putting a turbo on it as well....LOL...."fly like an
eagle", comes to mind).

Hello,
Since things were a little slow, thought I, introduce my self.
I live in Colo Spngs CO, and own a 1985 BJ60, with a 3B engine 80%+
stock.
As you might expect, the little 3B has a few issues with altatudes
over 3000 ft, and at 5500 ft, it just has enough power to get out of
it's own way, going uphill.
Hope to see more people on the list.
