I'd get Sirius instead. XM is losing customers and just lost NASCAR.

install an "external", after-market XM radio?

I mean a Roady II or somesuch, really installed but removable.

NEATLY wired to the power outlet and stereo system line-input in the
center console, NEATLY wired to the external antenna.
