My average last year got up to 49.4 MPG before the dang cold weather
arrived... which caused it to drop all the way down to 48.3 MPG.

50 is possible. But it's going to take awhile to reach it... perhaps
longer than the warm weather lasts. Eek! We'll see.

Fortunately, each winter drop appears less dramatic as the years go on
since the average take away is from an ever increasing mileage total.
