During my test drive, the thing that impressed me the most was how
smooth the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) felt. I kept
expecting that soft jar of the typical transmission. But with both
slow and quick acceleration, nothing, nada, zip. It was really cool!

Stealth mode, err, I mean battery-only mode was really slick too. I
can easily imagine unintentionally startling someone in a parking lot
because they didn't hear me pull up behind them.

As for the interior, it was very comfortable and quite roomy. The
speedometer placement was perfect. (Why aren't other vehicles this
way?) The placement of the display-screen was right on too (though
I'm not sure about the brightness during the peak of a sunny day
since my test drive was at dusk). And all the control dials &
buttons seemed organized well enough for my needs.

So... I am more excited then ever about getting my own Prius. Soon,
I hope. My order was placed on 6/5.
