Back in 2000 I purchased a 1996 Chrysler Concorde LXi through E-Bay Motors from
the Lexus dealer in Wichita, Ks, for my father in Tulsa. Done deal on Tues,
delivered
yes, I said d e l i v e r e d on Saturday...all for the purchase price of
$2,200. Dad drove
that car 4 years and when he traded it in they gave him $1,000 loyalty
allowance on top
of $3,600 trade in on a 2004 Chrysler 300C. The Concorde had 217K miles on it
when
he decided it was time for a new one....bought it sight unseen with 113K
miles.

When dealing with a private party, always inspect the vehicle
in-person before making an offer. That way you could have gotten the
correct VIN and run it to find out the true history of the car.
I bought mine thru EBAY Motors... well, I got the lead thru them.
Turned out to be a POWER AUTOMOTIVE GROUP dealer, Jaguar of Southbay;
I only discovered this after the fact or I would have never dealt with
them. They lied about my car having CRUISE and since I they were sooo
far away (about an hours drive) I never saw the car til they delivered
it. Also, turned out that the ignition had been replaced or at-least
rekeyed cause I had to spend $60 to get a locksmith make me a key to
operate the doors & trunk!!
These sneaky-pete's went outside of EBAY to make the deal and thus I
ended up paying $3G more than I had planned to spend!! Stupid ME!!
I should have insisted on going thru the BIDDING process on EBAY.
