The PACKARD has a DEAD battery!! I had to take the generator and
have the armature turned, and some new brushes put in it. Works like
a champ now...and for only $40....what a great deal !! Also, I have
ordered a new regulator for it....the old one is probably bad.....so
this should take care of the charging problem.....nothing worse than
being stuck with a dead battery !!
