I've been driving my 99 Si around stock for 2
months, I just can't take it anymore. I ordered a custom
AEM intake, Japanese Honda type R 4:1 headers, and a
Tanabe Racing Medallion catback. It will be another two
weeks before they all arrive and get installed. It will
be the longest two weeks of my life... <br>PS; Does
anyone know how restrictive the Cat is on newer civics?
Should I upgrade that too as long as I'm doing all that
other stuff?

I'm looking for some really lightweight rims for
my Si to mount some drag-radials on. BBS makes some
great looking rims that are only 16lbs, but they're 300
bucks for one 15". Konig GT-Rs are 20 lbs or so and
they're only 70 bucks for 15"s. I know Spoon makes some
really light ones too, but they're probably a grip ($).
Any ideas? What about tires, I know Kumo just came
out with a DOT approved Drag-radial that's half the
price of the Nitto ones.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A NICE SYSTEM. AFTER I DO
SOME MORE PERFORMANCE MODS THEN I'LL ADD AN AMP AND A
TUBE. I HAVE A PIONEER HEAD UNIT, PIONEER 5 1/4 IN THE
DOORS AND PIONEER 6 1/2 ON THE BACK PANEL. THANX FOR

As of right now, none. I am taking the air intake
box off tomorrow, but that is it for performance. As
for stereo though.. I put in a JVC Slide faced
cd-player, crossover, 170W amp, pushing one 10" Hi-phonics
Series I Zues in a band pass.. It sounds great. I am
going to wait until I can get about 2700+ and put my
car into the shop when I go on a long business trip
and hopefully come home with a 13 sec civic..
