Re: Convertible Top Glue

I use a product called "instant vinyl" that I got either at WalMart
or a fabric store (cant remember which) It comes in a white tube
with the name in black letters, has a yellow band about 2/3 down and
a red band around the bottom. IIRC, it was about $1.50 for the 1 1/4
ounce tube. Make sure both surfaces are CLEAN and DRY, apply the
glue and clamp for about 45 minutes. I have used it on almost every
stitched seam on my top. Not one has failed. It dries clean and
clear. Good Luck

Originally these were welded in place somehow, but I found that body emblem glue-found at any murrays, pep boys, ect... works just fine. I had separation...
