Why not just replace the ashtray and lighter?

I have a 92 Lebaron conv 6 cyl (not that it matters in this case). We bought a
complete junker that we have pillaged for all sorts of stuff. The top, the
window motor, the trunk hydrolic bar, the rear seats, front seats etc but now we
would like to take that console out and replace mine because my cigarette
lighter doesn't work and the ash tray is all rusty.
Would anyone happen to know how we accomplish that? The shifter has that plastic
piece(in ine) that is cracked and broken and the parts car has one that is like
new. That's what started this discussion on swapping the entire console as
opposed to trying to just change out that one piece.
I bought a manual online thru EBAY, but it still hasn't arrived. I didn't know
if that type of information would be listed in there.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated. I have another question that I'll post
separately.
