It's really pretty easy. There's a phillips screw in the shift knob, remove
the screw, and pull up on the knob to remove it.

The console top is easy as well. With the ashtray removed, you'll see the
phillips screws that hold it down, pull the bezel straight off that
surrounds the radio, and you'll see the two screws at the bottom of the
stack that are hidden, remove those, and the ashtray assembly comes out.
Take the screws out of the console lid, remove it, and you'll see a couple
of screws inside the storage bin...once those are removed, you should be
able to remove the entire top of the console.
