Yes I have been warned by a sidecar friend of mine not to take anyone in it the
first couple times out and avoid the highway until I'm familiar... I so looking
forward to it, but at the same time I just love the solo riding. Guess I'm going
to learn how to connect, setup and disconnect the sidecar fairly well.
Cheers

bike/sidecar combinations run with the standard telescopic fork front end. Of
course, you'll have to understand that sidecar handling is a compromise at best.
When you accelerate or go up a hill the sidecar will pull the bike to the right,
when you brake (think they are bad enough on a solo) the sidecar will pull the
bike left, carry a passenger the effect becomes greater, and the first time you
lift the sidecar wheel on a right hand curve is always exciting. In spite of all
that I will agree with you that owning and riding a Chang is fun.

is this going to be a problem riding with the side rig on?

ahead with a solo project. However, my '99 TDM 850 come along ..... Cheers, Phil
