There's a connector on the trans switch and another up near the firewall. Make sure _both_ are plugged in. Also, make sure the connectors are in good shape....

When I did mine on my AWD, I put a block of wood on my jack and lifted the engine under the oil pan. It's not exactly recommended, but it worked....
