This site and it's members are dedicated to the preservation of Opels, primarily in Texas, though we do have a lot of members outside of Texas. Within Texas we have members up by the Oklahoma border, down at the souther coast, out in Houston, and in El Paso, and everywere in between. So there is no "central" location.
We swap ideas on trouble shooting and improvements, information on parts, and car show information, amoung other things.
We have meetings twice a year where we all get together and talk Opels. Once around Memorial Day and then around October. Some cars are on trailers, some missing parts but street legal, and some very nice. We have everything from bone stock original to full blown customs and everything in between. The meeting generally happen in a different place each time. Members volunteer to host and everyone comes. If you have the space for a bunch of cars, then volunteer to host the next meet.
