Re: [tevan] Diagnostic tool

Nick,
I was going to include an LXT display but forgot.
I have an extra LXT display I can send.
You need to take off the black cover to connect it
however, because I don't have a connection cord that
connects to the round silver connector on the outside
of the black box.
The run light should only come on when the gear
selector is in neutral. If any of the gear selector
switches is enaged (rev, 1st or 2nd) it won't come on.
When I had the blue switch rigged up in the cabin it
would come on EVERY time when going to neutral.
My guess is that one of the switches is being
intermittly making contact and needs adjustment.

When I charged it would come on everytime. Sometimes
it would take 10-15 seconds. It looks for a good
earth ground or green wire before closing the main
charge contactor inside the black box. Perhaps you
earth ground is not good enough?
