Depending on your year transmission, you either have an (89-93) AOD or a (94-95) 4R70W. I highly recommend not putting in any sort of aftermarket shift kit on...

What year are these parts from? Also the steering system is usually easy to diagnose. Its either leekey hoses bad rack & pinion or a worn pump....

Yes, it was jerky in turns, particularly sweeping exit ramps, etc. ... bushings as there is a solvent in the fluid so each year had to replace the bushings<not...
