This focus of this group is an annual weekend gathering of VW Syncro owners and fans from the Eastern part of the USA to drive our Syncros and test their abilities. This list is for those who own or are interested in the VW Vanagon Syncro and our annual event. At our gathering we may will talk about technical aspects of owning and maintainig a Syncro. This list was started in the Spring of 2006, although there have been several previous meetings some of the East Coast Syncro owners. These meetings have been in the area of the George Washington National Forest in West Virginia and Virginia. Details on this year's gathering can be found in the posts of this list. This list is not for the purpose of discussing technical aspects of the Syncro as there are already lists for this. Likewise, it is not for discussion of general Vanagon repair questions or engine conversion. If these topics arise, they should be transferred to the more appropriate lists.
