You guys are getting a good jump on plans for the summer quarterly. That's super! But acording to SWFWDA bylaws, neither I nor the board can arbitrarily select/approve a quarterly meeting location. We will absolutely forward your proposed dates and site to the membership via email and the website right away and we'll put it on the agenda for the Fall Quarterly.

 

ARTICLE XI.  MEETINGS

B.         The location, date and time of each meeting shall be determined by a vote of the Delegates at a previous meeting, and will be published in the Association Publication at least thirty (30) days prior to the meeting.

SWFWDA Summer Quarterly:  The NM4W will host the 2008 Summer Quarterly in Salida, Colorado.  The host campground will be Chalk Creek Campground and RV Park.  Camping spaces are limited and will fill up months in advance.  Make your reservations as soon as possible.  The phone number to the campgrounds is on their web site at http://www.chalkcreek-campground.com/.  Make sure you tell them you are attending the Quarterly!
