I personally liked the amazing : "AUTO-RELIST UNTIL SOLD" option.

Fred
Hi!
I am new here. Does anyone know the VIN series for the 25th
Anniversary Edition SVX. I am interested in buying one, but having
trouble getting info!
Thanks!
Hello Everybody!!!
Like you all, I am an avid SVXer. To save money, I prefer to work on
my own cars. I am selling copies of an online service manual for the
1993 Subaru SVX for $25.00 with no shipping charges.
This manual has helped me out a lot...not to mention the money I have
saved by doing the work myself.
These are version 6.0 stamped August 2001 from Subaru.
If anybody is interested, please email me at aruntr6@...
I hope this helps somebody as much as it has helped me.
Regards,
Arun Singh
Rich<br><br>I had understood that the production
number of the cars was after the 101 in the vin. This
would be the same information that the link shows. Yes,
your number would be correct. I am interested in
finding out though if there are any other colors of the
93 other than red. <br><br>Earl
Rich<br><br>The link that you posted went to your
photo album. Did you have another link that shows
something about the 93 models?<br><br>Acording to what I
have been able to find - there were 3,859 1993 cars
produced in all colors. Out of those, 301 were the
annaversary models (25th AM)- or 3,558 other than the 301
(25th AM). I have heard that they were only produced in
Barcelona Red with Tan interior,(first year red was a
available) and that would mean that the other colors were
not the annaversary models. I could be wrong, but
this is what I have found out thus far. If someone
else has different information, I'm all ears or eyes
in this case.<br><br>Earl - Vin # 176
It got back to its new home on Monday at 8:00 AM
PST. I LOVE IT!!!!!! I am not trying to rub it in,
just indicate my joy!!!<br><br>It went through lots of
snow in Oregon, and in Washington, and handled it like
a champ.<br><br>E.
I read somewhere in one of the clubs that colder plugs would improve
performance. Being new to all this I wondered what plugs and what temp and
gap.<br>mike or eclique
What about the hoods made by the other club thru
the other manufacturer..? With the Legacy
scoop.<br>Do any of them have rolled edges or just "cut" and
rough...? and are either finished underneath?<br>dg
Here's the message from the SUBARU SVX
Club.<br>"Blondeman is out of the country attending University in
Europe and has put his 92 SVX up for sale. Asking price
is $5800. Also, specially<br> ordered KONI Sport
shocks which he didn't get to install. Asking price for
the shocks is $850. Two shocks are numbered 862521
and<br> the other two 86101291. Furthermore, for sale is
a THULE ski rack, used only once! Holds 4 pairs of
skis. Asking price =$175. Further<br> info may be
obtained by calling (973) 697-5546 in northern NJ. Please
call evenings and weekends."
Would any body want to buy a 1994 SVX Red, with
two alarm systems... It runs great, with 77K miles.
In other words, it did about 10K miles per year,
thats 2K less than the national average of 12K per year
milage. It is very well taken care of. Please email me
for more details aarvide@...
here's what i know so far..and it is
allot..<br><br>There will need to be a production of 8, that is the
magic number. I realize I originally said 5 but with 8
we get shipping included and at another 100-150 a
hood for shipping 8 has become the magic number. So
the price to your door will be $600.<br><br>The hoods
are show quality. as in they look as good as you
would expect and are being manufactured by CARisma
(well respected) They do sub out their work though so i
dont really know who makes them. The purchase is also
being done through a local shop Perfection Performance,
who i have worked with in the past with my other
cars. (mainly he will allow us to use his CC machine a
big plus for many i would think)<br><br>There will be
a 1 month lead time from the point that all the
money is collected till your hood will be shipped
(remember they have to make a mold) and the hoods come
complete with latches and mounting points. THERE WILL BE
NO SCOOP (sorry guys it drove up the price big...)
one could be added though by any body shop i would
think.<br><br>PLEASE spread the word.. i know there are other forums,
most of which are too busy for me to keep track of.
EVERYONE is welcome to this and i am shooting for 8 ppl by
May 1 2001. that way we could all have our hoods by
june...<br><br>EMAIL is the KEY!!<br>svxcrx@...<br><br>Paul
Feigle<br><br>(dont pass up the chance to be one of 8 in the us to
have a c/f hooded SVX!!)
I was wondering if anyone knows of the cheapest
place to buy the GTS blackouts for the SVX. Has<br>
anyone gotten these? Also I was wondering if anyone knew
were to I could buy a ski/snowboard rack. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
No... it's just sleeping very
quietly...<br><br>BTW your former (you fool) SVX is still running quite
well here in MN. <br><br>Just gotta get the snows
mounted on the rims and I'll be all set for the snow
which we already have.
Your post was several days ago so you may have
already taken care of the problem, but I'll add my
tuppence anyway. We (wife and I - her car) recently had
the timing belt changed on her '95 at 75k and change.
If I'd known how badly the belt was eaten up I would
have done it sooner. I don't remember the cost, but I
was surprised that it wasn't higher, so it must not
have been a killer. Hope that helps.
<My SVX has 60k and change on it. Should I
relax and coast or change it right
away?><br><br>There is a 60K service due, in which the timing belt is
generally replaced. That's when mine was done.
Well, I will welcome myself to the 100K club...
Today, on a rainy sunday in Memorial Day Traffic, on
Interstate 81 in VA, while crossing the Narrow Passage Creek
Bridge between mile markers 281 and 282, I rolled over
100K im my Beautiful Barcelona Red LS-L Anniversary
Edition!! Ok Im done...<br><br>RSVX<br><br>Whish i could
have kept the milage down though!!
<I continue to see information that seems to
indicate that not all '93 models were 25th anniversary
additions. Is this true? ><br><br>In the USA, at least, I
have never heard of a 93 that was not a real 25th
Anniversary Edition. I do know that one of mine no longer has
the labels, since they were removed when tinting the
windows.
