Hi, I just joined up and thought I should tell a little about myself.
My name is Kevin, from NW Iowa. I own and operate a small motorcycle
salvage yard here on the farm. My first bike way back '71 was a 1965
Suzuki K10 80cc street bike. Although I consider myself a "Suzuki
guy", I'm not a huge fan of four stroke bikes. I do have a few GS's,
including 450, 550, 750, 850 and 1000. All my GS's are "for parts".
Currently stripping down a 1981 GS850g dresser, some parts I'll
probably list on e(vil)bay, my seller name is kmcycle. If anyone here
is in need of parts, let me know as I'd rather not sell on ebay.
For my own street riding, I alternate between several bikes: my
favorite 72 Suzuki Titan, 76 GT500, 70 T350, 72 CB750, 76 CB550, 74
RD350.
Off road either a 1988 Suzuki LT250R or 1993 Kawasaki Mojave 250. As
you
can probably tell, I'm not into newer bikes. My salvage yard of 1800
bikes, mopeds and 2 dozen sleds ranges in years from 1960 to 1984 with
very few newer than that. I have all the major Japanese brands and a
few others: Sears Allstate, Benelli, Hodaka, Moto Beta, Beta, Jawa,
CZ, Bridgestone, etc. Happy
