The timing belt is more. It's inside the front. Pretty big job.

If it's slipping, you probably don't have them tight enough.

hey guy's I just moved to charlotte about a week ago and I drove down from ny in my 1997 obs. I had some stuff in it so it was a little heavy, but about 6 hrs...

That sounds kind of odd... Off the top of my head...-How many miles since time Timing Belt was replaced? -Crank pulley tight? -AC overfilled or compressor...

Interesting. So, the problem existed before and after you changed the belts? I've never dived in that deep with my 2002, and have always let the dealer do...

yeah one of the belts drive the ac pump. It doesn't shake now but when i run the ac i feel like it slips every so often. ________________________________ From:...
