if it still doesnt open give a little push down on the seatas you are turning the key to the left without pushing the key in,maybe give the latches a shot of wd40 after that they stick sometimes

If the 2008 Stradas are the same as the rest, try removing the ignition key from the ignition.  Now insert the key back into the ignition.  Let go of the key to make sure you're still not pushing inward in the key.  Now turn the key to the left ( counterclockwise) and the seat should release.  Be sure you do not push inward on the key as this is done.  Key should move to the 9 to 10 oclock position.

This concerns a 2008 Linhai Aeolus 260. Does anyone know how to get
the seat to open so I can get to the storage area underneath? I would
look in the manual but unfortunately, that is where the manual is stored!
