Re: [sprintformation] rear brake pressure limiter

Thanks for remembering me. I have solved the problem by swapping the part
with one off a low mileage Ti I have in storage. When I come to restore that
one.I will buy a manually adjustable limiter and fit it in the boot. That
will also give me something to play with. So the car is now on the road but
only used when our main family runabout, a Fiat Brava 80sx, is already being
used by one of us, as its winter here and the roads a heavily salted this
year. I normally run my 75TS in the winter but that is off the road as it
will not stay in first gear after I gave it a fairly major overhaul. I
thought it would be a good idea to replace all the many bushes in the
gearlinkage to improve the gearchange while I was replacing the clutch,
central de dion bush, brakepipes and rubber driveshaft doughnuts. It seams
the linkage is very sensitive or I have damaged the gearbox when driving out
the rollpin from the selector shaft. I am waiting for some warm weather
before I investigate that one.
In the meantime my Sprint is sitting neglected in my mothers garage and now
the clutch has seized up. But I have had that problem before with old Suds
when their off the road.

Good-o Martin. The seizing of clutches on stored Suds (and Nords) is a problem all right. And those rear brake pressure limiters also tend to seize with lack...

As part of our annual MOT test they test the braking effort by sitting the car on powered rollers and the rear limiter works perfectly despite the fact the...
