Rashman,
I think one of the problems with our
site is lack of conversation between members. I mean,
how hard is it to jot down a brief message on our
site to each other?? I am looking forward to riding
with you soon. I am off Sunday after I wake up until
Thursday morning. I also have your much belated B-Day
present. I think you will like it it is pretty cool!! Talk
soon. PS. I have been sick the last few days with this
nasty flu.
Michael,
I never take your smack seriously. I
rarely take you seriously:) I have not used my training
wheels for some time. Anyway, I am still planning on
heading to Cannon Beach this weekend. Hopefully right
after I get up. I just want to check it out. By the
way, I know you are secretly envious of my underroo
collection.
Jason I didn't take your smack seriously because
you barely have enough skill to ride that GSXR
without the optional training wheels. I figured thats why
you were avoiding me also, just remember what my
sticker said on my Schwantz helmet: PRACTICE ALL YOU WANT
I'M STILL GOING TO BEAT YOU.
Hey Ninja Man,
Has been awhile since I last
talked to you. Hope all is well. Just to let you know
that order we placed for the Batman underoos is in.
You can pick your seven sets up whenever you feel
like it. Pretty good idea having a pair for each day
of the week:)
Okay,
First off, get off or outta my
underoos! There is an enforcement agency for people like
you. Regarding that R1 of yours; my understanding is
the guy with the GSXR put some light weight turn
signals on the rear of his bike and thus went by you so
fast your blue R1 paint came off!! Is that true?
Speaking of underoos, is that any relation to your
Rashmaster13 logo?:) See you on the asphalt.
A fantastic ride only marred at the end. Again
after we split up the R6 came around the corner hit
some sand and went down. Matts ok though. I dont want
to give the impression that this happens every time
we ride. Just occasionally both times however
leathers saved the participants from rash.
I'm so
tired from that ride I probably wont ride for a few
days. That Bear Camp road, 15 or so miles of hard
twisties kicked my butt especially coming down with all
that hard constant braking. My shoulders are killing
me.
Stay tuned.......same bat channel same bat time, and
dig up some more members folks.
Mike
There's a good little road between the old
7-devils near Whiskey Run and 7-devils that runs along the
ridge. Off-camber turns, esses, short
straights, elevation change, decreasing radius turns, only driveways
are at the bottom. Decent pavement but has a tendency
to stay wet a day longer and the edge is dropping
off and makes some interesting buckles in the
asphalt. Still a little gravel from road work last year in
the middle of the lane in spots. Should be perfect in
another month or so. Reminds me of Hwy 9 in the Santa
Cruz Mts.
There are a pair of Tickets to Laguna on E-bay
with the bidding starting at $20.00. It's a hidden
reserve auction, but the seller says the reserve is alot
less than original cost. These are BigDog tickets with
parking passes and reserved grandstand seating in turn 11
and 4. Auction only lasts another 4 days and you can
pay by credit card.Item#355077366
I shouldve figured you would talk smack, haha but
I was dogging it so you could keep up, j/k
If
you know any others like the 929 turn them on to the
site or give them my #, Ive got 5 lined up for this
ride so far. The more the better.
Mike
Get whipped, huh? Still haunted by how you weren't able to shake that Ninja?
That's o.k., it happens to the best of us and who knows, maybe it will even
happen to me someday.
I know its in the middle of the week but thats my
current weekend. If I can find a couple people to ride
I'd like to start at Gold Beach and then head up the
Rogue, if interested or a possibility give me the word,
good ride guaranteed.
That would be sweet...i just bought a 92 ZX7 and am very anxious to ride...I
plan on making a few coast trips this summer so let me know if there are going
to be any organized rides...thanks
I went riding the other day with a GSXR and A
ZX9R just after we split up my buddy put his gixxer
into the weeds. He stood it up around a corner and
went off a ten foot drop. Surprisingly it did very
little damage, all those briars cushioned the fall. Good
thing I made him wear leathers, he didnt want to. He
also learned the lesson of once you stand the bike up
in the corner you just threw skill out the window
and youre going to run into or over or in whatever is
on the outside of that corner. Luckly that wasnt a
100 foot drop off.
Nice qwacker,
I hope we can get a ride
organised. Im up near Coos Bay but I know a good road from
Agnes to Grants Pass. Also if you have any riding
buddies perhaps we can make this club take off the more
members the more likely we can get some good rides
going.
Mike
I know there is not alot of sport bikes on the
south coast but there is some I actually saw a couple
yesterday unfortunately I was in a truck at the time going
the other way. Lots of good roads and I'll post some
more when and if I get some members.
I don't know if I'm going yet but if I had the right
incentive...............zooming down hwy 1 with some posers...............I
might try for a few days off. Convince me people.
I promise I wont remove your key from your bike
just as you enter some twisties 50 miles from no where
and leave you there. I'll come back.
Seriously it
wont hurt you to join I promise it'll be totally
painless, unless you try to keep up with me (ha ha). Even
if you get one good ride out of this or show others
your favorite road its a win win. By the way I know
lots of good roads I've only posted one so far, so
join up.
Keep your knees down and your head up.
Langlois Mt. road Langlois Or. off Hyw 101dead end but beautiful view when you
get to the top................. Add a road and help a buddy wear out his knee
sliders
