I have just received my 1999 Force. As per the instructions from Solectria, I had the electricians install 20amp GFI-protected, 240VAC using the NEMA 6-20R....

Don't think it is GFI or it would always trip. I am guessing that your batteries are very much in need of a charge and the charging is drawing a lot of power....
