This would be the time of year that many rear battery box fans stay on
constantly.  I don't know the exact numbers, but I believe they first turn on
when the box temperature hits 100F, but doesn't turn off until 80 or 85.  Have
you tried leaving your car sitting out on a cool night unplugged to see if the
fan will turn off?

Bill, Solectria/Azure had some a couple of years ago. Are you sure it is defective? Once it snaps closed at about 85F that switch won't open again until around...

Mine runs all summer. The box temp has to drop below about 72 before it cuts out. Local weather says that air is 110F here today, so the fan stays on....
