The 4-dr is heavier than the 2-dr, but has an extra 10hp, plus overdrive 4th on
the Warner-Aisin automatic trans (2-dr only has a 3-spd Hydramatic). The 4-dr is
quieter than the 2wd, and they drive OK on hiways at 60mph at 2700rpm. They'll
do 80mph, but at 3500 rpm, it's pushing it a bit for all-day driving. I don't
like big tires because I prefer the tight turning radius with stock tires. I
usually have 4 all-season radials on my Tracker, & it it plows through any
amount of snow. After 200,000 km on the original plugs and cat, it still passes
the smog test. The cam-belt easily lasts 150,000 km, and brake parts are cheap.

First, the 235 tires are roughly 4" larger in diameter than stock tires, so your speedometer will be off by as much as 10% and more prone to flipping on even...
