Subject: [shovelrider] Hello from Berdoo... New to the group
Hello all,
My name is John but my friends call me Rooster. I've been lookin' for some folks that dig shovels like I do for a long while now and ran across this group and it looks like I found some. I live in San Bernardino but was born and raised in Huntington Beach.
I just posted some pic's of an 81 Shovel I bought about five years ago and built in six months. I built my first bike, a rusty bucket case Panhead about forty years ago. In 1981 I bought my first Shovel and that's all she wrote. I always have a newer bike like my 07' FXSTC (the station
wagon) to haul me, the ol' lady and our camping shit around but about an hour into the trip I miss my ol' Black Betty (my shovel). Any one else have that problem?
Nobody answered my last post so I'm thinkin' I did something wrong and it did not post. I would like to know if the meetings are opened to the public and if you guys go to events together?
