Description

Welcome to South East Scotland Bus! This group deals with issues which concern bus transport in South East Scotland stretching from Fife to Lothian and the Borders. We welcome both company employees and enthusiasts who wish to have mature, balanced and occasionally humourous conversations about the bus scene in general.

PLEASE NOTE - Anyone who wishes to subscribe to this group must do so via their ISP address. Members who attempt to join from random Hotmail or Yahoo accounts will be automatically moderated and their membership may not be accepted, this is because of previous abuse of the group and the moderators look after the group in their spare time.

Homepage Photo: April's POTM theme was vehicles with the old-style pre-2001 prefix/suffix registrations. For the second month in a row, the winner was Dave Ballantyne who captured First Edinburgh's Leyland Tiger/Duple 469, with short-lived First Borders fleetnames, in the former Kelso depot in June 2001. This bus was a Tiger development vehicle and spent much of its life as a non-PSV before arriving in the Borders during 1998, being nicknamed "Wandering Wullie" by drivers due to its steering reputedly having a mind of its own.
