Chuck,
Have you ever thought of getting out from under the Yahoo umbrella and actually
starting a
2nd gen website as a stand-alone website? There is far more activity on
Maxima.org then
here. This is the first time I've actually seen you on-line!

Question. My Max is a 5-speed, I've replaced the factory stereo/equalizer with
a Blaupunkt
CD head unit and finished off the open areas with genuine Cherry wood, as well
as the
console surrounding the shift boot. I want to find a wooden shift knob that
compliments the
cherry but is the same basic size as the original shift knob (which is still in
tremendous
condition). Any suggestions? I also replaced the original molded rubber shift
boot with a
leather one. Send you a pic of the whole setup if you want. Really warms up
the console
area.
