Well folks: In the continuing saga of my noise I have done the following as
emailed: Changed carb needle setting to second notch (nope and ran bad) changed
needle entirely. Changed carb slide piston, changed carb spring, removed exhaust
pipe on left side ( no carbon ) observed rings and looks ok, Removed small lead
pipe on muffler, tried premium gas. Nothing has changed. Any other ideas. I will
once again check timing this weekend.
