I have been out for a ride in a few months and I'd love to come, but sadly my
scoot is out of commission, plus I have other obligations on the 5th. 
Otherwise, I think it would be a fantastic ride.  I rode mine all the way to St.
Pete Beach (from Kissimmee) a few months ago, by the time I got home, I was a
little sore in the saddle, if you know what I mean.

I hope I'll be ready to roll again for the January ride.

If anyone still wants to they are more than welcome to pit stop at my house
and/or leave trucks.
It takes 2-2.5 hrs to get to Barneys so I figure we'd need to leave no later
than 9 (maybe 8:30) to make it on time (11:15)
For those that aren't too familiar with my location:
I'm 6 miles south of I-4 exit 48 in Lake Alfred. I'm 2 blocks north of US 17/92.
(I can email the address to anyone that needs it)
But that does add at least 4-5 hours of saddle time in addition to the main
ride, so parking over at barneys may be a really good idea too (I'll be riding
though... my scooter looks funny being trailered)

Ride on Dec 5th.  Is their enough interest to start a Database and begin
planning this event?

First you don't take anything back to the House of Power. Their quality has
really gone down, maitenance as well as business. Second there is a shop on Park
Hill BLVD.  Atlantic Cycle Service, Inc, 154 Park Hill BLVD,West Melbourne. 
321-725-8151.Park Hill is one block west of Dairy RD and 192 intersection. These
people have done great work on our bikes and they are the only place we'll take
them.

I took it to House of Power, where I bought it, and they had it one week then returned it to me and said they no longer serviced Schwinn scooters and couldn't fix mine. I am hoping someone in this club knows a good scooter mechanic in the area where I can take mine to get fixed. I miss my scooter rides. I found some information on the Internet on just this problem, but I don't have the guts to take apart a scooter and try to fix it.

I stopped by and picked up a couple today as well.  Not only good for holding
Epass/Sunpass, but Ipod's as well. :)  I have one extra if someone would like

While I have no problem with you meeting at my shop, please keep in mind that
there are other businesses here that will be open so I would suggest that you
meet up on the side of building (the street) and maybe only use a few parking
spots if needed. I would like to keep my neighbors happy! Thanks!!

Subject: [scootercrew] orlando scooter society - scooter nights update

 

tomarrow night is scooter night and I hope everyone can join in. we have the new facebook page setup as well.   Tomarrow night i want to try to make sure everyone can show up early so we can get a good ride in tomarrow the weather should be great for rideing..   Also I need a count of people who wish to join in on the Ride to the Brewery on Sat Nov 28th at 9:30am we are meeting at the scooter trap store in winter park near the Hide away bar. if a we have a large turnout we will have to groups rideing. Please email me back to let me know you want to go, this is a free event and i should have some stickers to handout and other free stuff ( everyone loves free stuff )   This is every Thursday night at 7pm we meet at the stardust cafe and hangout and talk until 8pm. Then we ride together around town usually A 3-10 mile ride around town to a select location.
