Oh and you were not whining. You asked for clarification on the tires and it turns out you did very well with mileage on the tires.

Either way, new tires are headed to the mechanics today, and it should be back on the road no latter than Wednesday.

Got the same answers from the dealer when I paid them a visit Saturday.

Yes indeed. look at the tread wear number on the tire. On my tC, with original Yokohamas, it was 160. That is very low, but it was a sticky, good performance...
